The yard is thoughtfully designed with a central wash bay for easy grooming and bathing, as well as secure tack and rug rooms to keep equipment organised and protected. Leigh: A Dream Fulfilled
Leigh's journey is a testament to the power of dreams realised. With over a decade of management experience and a solid background in planning and scheduling, Leigh is the operational backbone of Cane End Stud. Her vision is to create a drama-free, smoothly running yard where horses receive the utmost care and attention. Leigh's dedication to excellence is palpable in every corner of the stud, ensuring that each horse is treated with love and respect. Her commitment to a well-organised and harmonious environment sets the tone for an exceptional equine experience.
Craig: A Legacy of Expertise
Craig's extensive background in the Household Cavalry, spanning 22 years, brings a wealth of experience to Cane End Stud. Having completed the Army's advanced military Equitation course in 1996, Craig is a qualified military riding instructor with a deep understanding of horse training and equitation. His skills as a bridle and saddle maker, honed through his training at a prestigious saddlery college in Wiltshire, have earned him the title of Master Saddler within the regiment.
Throughout his career, Craig has overseen the fitment and maintenance of both horses and soldiers' uniforms, demonstrating his meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality. His role as an Operations Manager at Cane End Stud is enriched by his experience in managing and developing various departments, including Farriers, Saddlers, and Riding Instructors.
